Deb Rubin, VP and Managing Director at Transamerica will share information focused on Multiple Employer Plans, current proposed legislation, what customers are looking for, what to look for from record-keepers, watch-outs for consideration, and more. Her goal will be to help you determine if supporting MEP clients makes sense for you.
Ilene Ferenczy, JD, Managing Partner at Ferenczy Benefits Law Center will present on how her TPA clients are using both open and closed MEPs to provide alternatives to their clients. She will also discuss how the normal plan documentation can be augmented to provide both proper structure and liability protections for those practicing in this space.

About our Speakers:
Deborah (Deb) Rubin, CFP serves as Vice President and Managing Director of TPA and Special Markets at Transamerica. With over 25 years of retirement plan experience, Deb holds her FINRA 7, 63 and 24 designations and is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She received her BA in economics from Barnard College of Columbia University.
Ilene H. Ferenczy, J.D., CPC, APA, is the managing partner of Ferenczy Benefits Law Center LLP, an employee benefits law firm in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Ferenczy advises clients on all types of employee benefit plans, particularly focusing her practice on qualified retirement plans, benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions, and advising third-party administrators of employee benefit programs on technical and practice issues. Having become an attorney after more than ten years as a third-party administrator, she brings a unique and practical approach to her advice. She is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and California, and holds designations as a Certified Pension Consultant from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and Accredited Pension Administrator from the National Institute of Pension Administrators.
